Honestly I rarely have great experiences in the urgent care and ER section but today was terrible. I have never felt more judged by a provider in my life. She completely dismissed any respect for something that I asked her to keep private from my kids and didn’t do a well job hiding her opinion of a sick mother of 3 (ages 7,2and1) who were also all sick - just trying her BEST with her kids after being there for a couple hours… I left feeling like an idiot and unqualified to mother my children. February 23,2025. Brownsburg hendricks immediate care. I am perplexed. This location is currently adding on to their overall structure, yet has a waiting area with approximately 14 people awaiting to be seen. Within the first hour<- I observed 3 couples walk in, check with the girl at the window, then directly walk back out the door. A couple that previously waited about 20 minutes, just got up from their seats and walked out. 1-2 hour wait is ridiculous. We've had multiple experiences here with various members of my family, and each one has been unpleasant. From very long wait times (in the middle of the night, just waiting for a urine culture to confirm a UTI), to completely inaccurate diagnosis (a doctor suggesting that an Xray of my son's big toe with part of the bone chipped off may be a "hereditary" anomaly. I like the availability to walk in for care without an appointment. Wait is never long. "Excellent & thorough care." If needed you will be transferred to ER for detailed examination & tests. I experienced this once. You are given a detail paper copy of your results. I also use their lab for blood work & their PT rehab.
