We owe absolutely everything to Turner for he truly saved our son when he was 6 months old. Our Son Mason had complications from his first surgery resulting in several additional open heart surgeries with an artificial valve and pacemaker. Turner was absolutely outstanding with informing us as parents what was happening and what we need to be expec. I was referred to Dr. Turner for a second opinion. And I’m grateful for this referral. All the reviews are 100% accurate. My son was 16 when he had his open heart surgery. I was so worried about the whole process because the first surgeon we met with was pretty sloppy about explaining the process of this type of surgery. After the Lord hi was the one saved my son life ( 5 years old) after more than 10 hours in block. I hope meet him again with my son now 10 years hold. I keep praying for him.
Dr. Turner is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. We traveled across the country just to have him and his staff complete the surgery my child needed. He had a great bedside manner as well which is sometimes difficult to find in a surgeon. The staff, nurses and physicians at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children are also fantastic.
Dr. Turner did heart surgery on my premie who was born with TGA , him and his staff are beyond amazing they make you feel just like family. And I would highly recommend him and the rocky mountain children's hospital in Denver
Dr. Turner is amazing! He provided us with all possible options and outcomes before he helped us choose the best fit for our active teenage son, a Ross Procedure. From pre-op until he was rolled into the he PICU for recovery, it was over 12 hours. Dr Turner and team communicated milestones to us throughout the day. The surgery was a huge success. Our experience with Dr. Turner and his team were beyond our expectations! He is thorough, skilled and has a wonderful bedside manner. He spent so much time with us explaining and caring for our family. He’s so thoughtful. He showed up every step of the way and made quick, wonderful decisions in the OR. We’d trust our child to him over and over again! We are so thankful we were able to work with him. One of the best Dr.‘s in Denver.
After being with Rocky Mountain Hospital for over 18 years. Our original Surgeon had retired, so Dr. Turner was new to us and we had the expected apprehension anyone would have meeting a Surgeon that would have your childs life in their hands.
