Best vegan place in Memphis and I am not even vegan!
The owners are some of the most caring and compassionate individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is a reflection of the heartfelt and dedicated people that they are, and I highly recommend eating there. The Southern Staple is one of my favorites!
Love this place! I'm vegetarian (not vegan), but even my omnivore daughter and friends have found plenty of satisfying dishes here. More, the warm and welcoming atmosphere is amazing. Each time we've gone there are children around who invite my daughter to play while waiting on our food. I got a free meal on Mother's Day, and fathers received similar on Father's Day. Delicious, cruelty free food in a family friendly, homelike setting. Huge WIN!!
Honest vegan food and principles; what not to like?
I'm not a vegan but I do like to eat right and clean. Their cakes and pastries are incredible. Try them out!

As a Memphian/vegetarian since I was born, it's great to have a place that not only can cook a wide variety of delicious foods for vegans and vegetarians but also has a very friendly staff. I really enjoy the casual setting and the location is good because there isn't much competition for parking spots. The food is great, the staff is great. A+ all around.
It's a vegan cafe...what more do you want? Equality for humans?! Pfft like that will ever happen..oh wait, IT TOTALLY CAN!
