While it's not all bad, and it's been a couple of months since I've been there, I won't lie and say it's great. Some of the staff I truly love and are very nice. But there's one staff member that should not be allowed to work there. I'm looking at you Marcus. I would never recommend this place to anyone. My experience here actually made my mental health worse, not better. During my time as a patient, I was threatened by a boy who said he would punch me in the face. He even harassed me outside of treatment, and when I brought it up, the staff barely did anything about it. Instead, they disciplined me more than him — even though I didn’t do anything wrong. They give up too easily on your child. He came out feeling worse then when he arrived. They called me to tell me my son ran away but then made me wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes, then took me in the back room and told me they called the police to ho look for him and the. They wanted me to wait to talk to someone else instead of looking for my child. Of course I left to go find my son and luckily I found him. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants their child to gain confidence and trust.
Majority of the staff were incredibly kind and supportive! One star deducted because of one staff member who was not this way (they were quite the opposite, actually). Would recommend for IOP.
