Another Doctors office....another terrible billing department. I went for an Office visit and received a bill for $28. Next thing I know, I go to pay the bill and now it is $42. Apparently they did not like what Aetna paid and decided to "reprocess" the claim. The office tells me their contract changed with Aetna. I called Aetna and they said they just rebilled it. DISHONESTY AT ITS FINEST. when I was paying the higher bill of course not happy about it the front desk lady said oh it is only $10. seriously? and that makes it ... read more
I have been with Dr Thompson since he started his practice 33 years ago. I have the utmost respect for him and the entire staff. They have been there for me through many health issues and shown compassion in the loss of my parents and siblings. I have never had a problem getting an appointment in the office and love having the option on the off hours of using the IMA walk in office in Port Monmouth. Dr. Marcia Gold was great. Actually spends time needed with her patients. Wonderful bedside manner. Very gentle... and it’s a very nice, new, clean and facility.
I have been going to Dr Thompson for over 20 years now. The office has grown a lot over the years and I like that they really work to stay current. I also appreciate that if I have a sick visit and can't wait to see a doctor in Middletown; I can go to their walk in places 7 days a week and they also have my complete medical files. I love the patient portal and I am very happy with their electronic communications reminding me to complete tests or other helpful services.
