I get everything done at this salon....from head to toe. The staff is always very helpful and they know what I want. Even on their busiest days they find the time to fit me in the schedule. I've been blonde/highlighted/dark brown and every time I leave satisfied.

Purchased a mai/pedi combo from Suburban Momma. Wanted to do the pedi separate from the mani. I was told I could. Then after the pedi I was told I had to do the mani within 5 days, which was not possible because of the Thanksgiving holiday. The owner/or manager was not nice about it -- a shame because the pedicurist was not bad. I will not go back there EVER.

Let me say that this place is expensive, not service oriented and middle of the road. The owner thinks she is the greatest thing since sliced bread....get over yourself !!!

i am one satisfied customer!!! i get my coloring done by Sobeida for 10 years. i followed her from fort lee to Englewood and was really glad when she finally opened her own salon. I don't even have to tell her any longer what i need to get done - Sobeida just looks at me and knows right away what to do All staff members are very polite and well educated in their different trades. Alea cuts my hair for over a year and the result is always great. I never had one bad experience and can warmly recommend this salon.

I have never received as many compliments on both the color and style of my hair. Although I, myself, am extremely pleased with the results, it is always an extra bonus when people stop you on the street to comment on how you look. In addition all of the staff are pleasant and welcoming.

I have known the owner Sabeida for 12 years and have followed her to her beautiful salon from its inception. Sabedia is a 'brilliant' colorist and the 'sweetest' person you'll meet. I am super picky; 'your hair is your crown and glory'. I used to go to all the exclusive salons on 57th Street, NYC; pay top dollar, and am way happier here in Englewood,N.J. at Illuminada. I rate this salon 5 stars, A+, The Best. If you want your hair to look amazing; go to Illuminada for your color!!! :o)

I was recommended to the salon following a friends visit there. She has known the owner for years. When she told me about it, I was a little skeptical as I had read the reviews on here. But, I made the appointment anyway. I am VERY happy that I did. I was seated in the owner's, Sobeida's, chair. She had a friendly, up beat consultation with me. She asked if I needed a haircut. This is the worst place ever....the staff is so inexperienced and the one person that is experienced (the owner) is inconsistent and rude !!!! AND THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR THIS EVER AGAIN... NO WAY !!!

ATTITUDE....ATTITUDE ... This place is expensive, the staff (especially the owner) are very rude and nasty !!! The service sucks (always late), the cuts and colors are nothing to brag about....don't waste your time or money !!!!!
