This is a great driving school. I'm a 25 year old who never drove before. I decided to get my license in late September and with their help I got it earlier this week. First, when I called to find out the process they were very helpful. I had to take the written test to get my instruction permit, which was easy by just reading the rules of the road and going over the practice test on their website. Then, I called to set up lessons. Dominga was great! I recently passed my road test on the first try! Dominga is sweet, patient, but firm when she needs to be. However, she doesn't make you feel bad about yourself. You actually feel bad for disappointing her when you mess up because she's so nice and really wants you to enjoy your driving. She definitely knows her stuff because I was extremely fearful and always thought I would never get my license.

I took the 8 lesson adult package with this school and had a perfect experience with it. Before taking these lessons I knew almost nothing about driving and was in desperate need of a driver's license. The instructor Ted was very patient with me as well as very professional and always on time. Ted taught me everything I needed to know about the rules of the road and many other very helpful techniques to become a calm and confident driver. Going to Illinois Driving School was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I decided to go with them because my previous driving school was too expensive plus the teacher was horrible. NOT with this school! It's much cheaper than the one I had tried before and my instructor Mr. Harvey Young was so amazing. If you're an adult like me and you're nervous about getting your drivers license for the first time, this is the teacher you'd want. He talks to you very calmly and praises you when you do well. Dealing with Illinois Driving School was a good experience from the start. The two people I spoke with on the phone to set up lessons were incredibly friendly and my driving teacher, Dominga, was awesome. She was really patient and very thorough, and scheduling was never an issue. Thanks to her I got my license on the first try with no points off. I would absolutely recommend IDS, particularly Dominga, to anyone who needs to learn how to drive!

I certainly was satisfied with the school. I haven't driven since 2000 and I definitrly needed a refresher. Ted told me that I wasn't lousy at all but needed to warm up a little. Since my job moved to Naperville he gave me a chance to take a drive to work on a Sunday and back. It wasn't so bad at all. He just told me to relax. He made me feel confident and made sense too. I found out that he taught the daughter of someone who I used to take my car to also. I would definitely recommend your school and Ted's a great teacher.

I just got my license today. If you wanna pass from the first time, ask for Dominiga. Also my cousin bought a package with her, and she passed from the 1st attempt. I highly recommend her. Actually I already recommended her to some friends.
