This lender chose to use an appraisal company that demanded last-minute items a day before closing. This caused our closing date to be delayed the day before it was supposed to happen! As a seller or a buyer, I would expect lending companies to be on top of items that should be commonplace in their respective field. The inability to wrap a simple appraisal for a buyer within 30 days is ridiculous. If you want to avoid closing delays, avoid this lender.
