This is a must. Such great food. Small and elegant place. Some my not like the price but that is the difference in real food
Great food and service. 5 Stars. Our waitress was very helpful. We had our 14 month old granddaughter and the waitress never made us feel uncomfortable. However, this is not a place for small children
Just back from having another fabulous first class meal at IL Tesoro. Chef AJ Black is an artist. The lamb Oslo Bucco was it’s usual delight. The only thing is it’s so good, I never have any left over for a doggie bag. Lol. Thanks again to the professional servers like Demetri and Marco and the others. Can’t wait to visit again

This is a hidden gem on Sanibel and Captiva. Situated behind one of the art galleries and having a very small dining area, this was one of the best Italian food restaurant’s we’ve ever been to! Marco was our waiter and was excellent. The food is very good with many great selections and a very deep, quite surprising wine list heavy in Italian wines. The atmosphere is cozy, quaint and Tuscan like. To us it can be a romantic dinner place or nice, quiet getaway from the other island hotspots.
Wonderful dinner and great place but small. The food was excellent and huge portions. I will return maybe even on this trip this week.
We've been dining at Il Tesoro for many years. Over the past few years, the menu, service and quality has been inconsistent. However, we decided to try again and we were extremely pleased with the food, service and menu choices. Thanks to AJ and his team for elevating the experience at Il Tesoro.
