The crowd is surprisingly warm for the neighborhood, and the staff make dining here a pleasure. The 'pollo assut' and 'trippa dell'oste' are large-portioned and refreshingly different. Tiramisu and other desserts don't fail to satisfy either. Takeout and delivery options are available though they can't match the experience of dining at IL Punto.

The eggplant parmigiana is the best in the city. The staff is great. It's a must go when u want red sauce Italian cuisine.
Excellent meal and wonderful service, our last meal in New York before flying home. Delicious!!

This is our favorite restaurant in NYC. Antonio is the perfect host. Always makes us feel special. We celebrate our anniversary there every year and get there as often as possible during the year. The staff is most competent and friendly, the food is superb. The menu is classic and creative simultaneously.
I ordered the Il Timballo and it was the best! Would definitely go back for more!
