RecommendedAwesome service and great food
we went last summer while visiting the city. I was going to be nice and just put this place out of my mind and not review it but recent events had me change that. my one true test of any Italian restaurant, and my first order always, is arancini and a margherita pizza. these items, if done well, show me that they know what they are doing and I can be assured the rest of the menu will be equally as excellent. well the arancini was loaded with oil, and was papery and tasteless inside. the pizza was limp, with skimpy toppings a... read more

Health code violations aside (no soap or paper towels at hand washing stations... during a pandemic?!), owner incredibly unprofessional and rude to patron’s valid questions.
I have been going to Il Pizzaiolo for years and it is always amazing! The food is delicious, atmosphere can not be topped, service is fantastic. 10/10, would recommend to anyone!

I've actually never been to this establishment, but after reading all the recent reviews, that are clearly made by friends and family members of one left winged snowflake, who wants to ruin small businesses... and hard working people.. I WILL BE SURE to make coming to II Pizzaiolo my number one priority!!
