This place is a mess. Go anywhere else if you can. I was referred for a time sensitive diagnostic procedure and this place was scheduled out two months for an appointment. I’ll take what I can get, but I don’t know … hire more people? I took off work that day and had to start antibiotics the day before as prophylaxis for the procedure. I had bad experience about my recent visit to the clinic. On a positive note, the receptionist team was wonderful—very friendly, kind, and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience with the mammogram nurse was quite the opposite. The procedure was extremely uncomfortable and more painful than I’ve experienced in the past. After having a series of incredibly awful experiences trying to get medical care in San Diego, the care I received at Imaging Healthcare Specialists was a welcome change. The staff was professional and courteous, but also kind and caring. The lobby was packed while I was there, yet they took their time and spoke to each patient like a human being, not just cattle making their way through the line.
