RecommendedI will say from the reviews I had heard and saw I was a little apprehensive when I booked my room for my son’s basic training graduation. I will say I had the most pleasant conversations with the staff and they were most helpful....the lobby was very nice and clean and very inviting. Our suite we are in is clean and nice. Called to complain that our air conditione was not working upon check in. Still waiting for them to come and fix them the next day. Here for our son’s family day and graduation from Basic Training and sitting in a room that is 80 degrees is not what I paid for
1st why is there no hotel staff actually in this hotel? If I needed anything I had to get in my car and drive to the Holiday Inn Express. I will start with the small stuff...2 roaches in the kitchen. Water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, toilet paper holder coming off the wall. Then we got locked out of our room for 39 to 40 min before anyone would come let us in. 2 if the 4 washers d idnt work. I called for blankets and I never received them. And I save the BEST for last. All they care about is taking your money. They will audit and hold funds on your account WEEKLY which takes a toll for those who PCS'd there, staying for a month, and are looking for a place. It also took me close to two hours just to check in because the front desk personnel did not know how to work the system. They also double charged me for a 10 day stay which is a lot of money, and can cause a lot of problems if you're trying to be frugal during your move. Do yourself a favor, and stay off post.
