It's TOTALLY NUMMYS IN EVERY WAY!!!! From the service to the atmosphere it's mind blowing.
This place is AMAZING. Being a big fan of 417mag and a few other local journalism outlets, I've noticed that this restaurant isn't really highlighted or plugged by them... Yet, it should be. This restaurant doesn't get the exposure it deserves. The food is all made fresh, in-house, from good quality ingredients (yes, the chips, the salsa, the guacamole, even their spices). I ate at Iguana Roja yesterday for lunch. I was in town for a teacher training and this restaurant was right around the corner. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to Mexican food, but the Chicken Quesadilla I had was absolutely amazing! I loved the chips and salsa as well. Our server was great as well! He always kept our drinks and our chips and salsa full! I wish this restaurant was closer to home!
My favorite taco place since living in California. It's hard to pick a favorite type, but their carne asada and blackened mahi are top notch. The have fresh made lemonade that has kept me from trying one of their many margaritas. The queso dip is also top notch. It isn't the queso blanco like you get at most places. Overall, if you like Mexican food, and have some free time on a Tuesday, you are cheating yourself for not hitting up their "all you can eat" tacos.
This used to be a great place. Went in at a slow time, no one waiting for a seat. We were passed by three waitresses who made no eye contact or even acknowledge we were there. Waited 10 mins just standing. No one ever came and told us it would be a minute, nothing. Very disappointed. We will not go back!
