He refused to put my father, who is suffering from Lewy Body Dementia on Hospice because Gitterman said “he did not need it” in mid January 2020 and it is now mid February 2020 and he has been on hospice for 2 weeks - despite Gitterman’s medical notes claiming he did not need hospice and only because my father’s neurologist sent the real diagnosis and prognosis and my father was accepted in 3 days. I love him! He's like an old friend that deeply cares about your mental well-being and knows all about your health and genuinely wants you to live for as long as you possibly can. He's just a great Doctor!!!
Thorough and patient-focused.
Dr. Giterman is an excellent doctor, one of the best I have had in a decade. He is very knowledgeable, easy to converse with, makes one feel at ease, and has a sense of humor. Esmet Sharobeem, M.D. , who heads the ACP Centers should be grateful and thankful for Dr. Giterman, as well as his nurse practitioner, Barbara. She is a pleasure to speak to, well-informed, thorough and friendly too. I thought she was a Dr. when she examined me, but found out she was a nurse. GOLD STARS FOR BOTH!!
