Beware! I am helping a recent legal immigrant with permanent residency from Vietnam settle in her new home. This is the perfect location as it is within walking distance of Saddleback College where she just enrolled. We were told when we applied that she needed income equal to 3 times the monthly rent OR a guarantor with income equal to 5 times the monthly rent which I have along with a 840 FICO score - and yet she was denied.
