I am now at week six of waiting for my refund. I applied to the apartment and was denied, which I understand and accept. What is not acceptable is the complete lack of communication regarding my $500 refund. Immediately after being denied, I called to ask about the refund process and was told I needed to speak with the leasing agent I had been working with—who conveniently was out. This place doesn’t prepare for the snow! We had all week to prepare for this storm on 1/25/26. Salt wasn’t put down on the sidewalks before, only as an after thought. Snow removal is non existent for both sidewalks and parking spots. Nothing has been cleared out for pets so there is dog urine and poop all over the sidewalks near and around entrances to the building. And the building seemingly has no plan to fix any of this. Unacceptable! Unsafe and unsanitary! Maintenance and management are a joke!
Rivergate apartments is a multi family building. The 1 bedroom apartment is adequate for single person or a couple. It has a balcony in the majority of the units but not all of them. The apartments are so called smoke free yet you can smell Marijuana in the halls, and the staff does not approve of someone smoking a cigar on the balcony. The hot water doesn't last that long if you wish to take a longer shower. The apartments are also pre wired for xfinity and no other service is offered for your cable or internet.
