Their business model is to take opportunity of everyone else's misfortunes. $120 for a cabin filter replacement? $140 to replace the front wiper blades?!? Went in to diagnose an issue, had to pay $240 for them to figure out after 5 hours that my front and rear brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. They told me BEFORE tax, it would be $2000 ($1300 for parts, $700 for labor). Robbery. Went to autozone, got ceramic pads and remaining parts for $430. Bought a Hyundai Tuscon a year ago and now looking for a new vehicle. Why? Went on a 90 minute drive yesterday and received 17 "Consider taking a coffee break" notifications - 8 on the drive to and 9 on the drive back. That's 1 every 10 min. Hyundai considers these a "safety" feature and refuses to turn them off. I consider them extremely annoying and irrelevant and the reason I am looking for a new vehicle.
My Dad and I test drove a used vehicle in a Thursday morning. I was told I couldn’t take it that day because it hasn’t fully gone through their inspections. But we could test drive it and start paperwork. We loved the car. I signed paperwork agreeing to pay $15,995 plus taxes, registration, etc. bottom dollar was about $18,000 and was told that if there was any issues in the inspection they would take care of it. Ideal Hyundai of Frederick negative review… Our experience with them ended horribly! It started out great. My daughter (an adult) found what she thought was the perfect car for her needs. The salesman was friendly, talked up the vehicle as he also owned the same one. Very pleasant. Before and during the test drive he said the vehicle had not been through their shop for MD inspection (even though they already had it on the internet inventory with a set price) so we would not be able to take it home that day.
