I had double vision for the last 2 years. My Dr. recommended Dr. Shin. I had Strabismus surgery. She is a class act,Yet very down to earth,And very much a professional! Her staff is very friendly and helpful. I am one week out post-op. Dr Shin gave me my life back. I just knew that my surgery would be successful, she came highly recommended by many of her colleagues. Thank You!!! Dr Shin you Rock!!
Wow! Dr shin is on point! Just finished my daughters eye appointment and couldn't believe how detailed and knowledgeable dr shin was!! She spent a lot of time with my daughter "fine tuning" her eye needs!!! We are super excited to be able to get back with her again (now that our insurance covers her)
I took my daughter to see Dr shine back in 2014 because she was crossing her eyes so bad ,she prescribed her eye glasses which made a huge change in her eyes , she did a miracle to my daughter eyes , I highly recommend her if you want the best for your kids
Get a second opinion! My daughter was prescribed "coke bottle" glasses by Dr. Shin and she did not adjust to them well, I took her back for a glasses recheck and still was not satisfied. I took her to another eye doctor and found out that she did not need glasses! I can't imagine the damage that I could have caused her by forcing her to wear the ones prescribed by Dr. Shin. Dr Shin is so sweet and patient with the kids (and me since I know nothing about eyes and glasses, no one in my family has needed them, now my son does and he just turned 5) She is also quick and very efficient.. this week was our 1 year check up since she prescribed him glasses after she did his double eye surgery for strabismus. She did an incredible job with his surgery last year as well.. he hasn't had an issues with his eyes pulling inward since!
Dr. Shin is a world known surgeon. I have been going to her for 12 years. Wouldn't let anyone else touch me. I recently had cataract surgery and was scared to death. She was so sweet and reassuring in the operating room, I settled down immediately. When the second eye was operated on, I just had a friend drop me off and pick me up. It was a breeze.
