Good food small but great atmosphere pretty quick in and out! I had the ideal omelette and my son had the working man breakfast both filled us up! Overall a cool little breakfast spot!
I just got the toast and scrambled eggs when I was there, because my stomach was a little weak. But the eggs were delicious! Fun and impressive to watch the main cook time everything and finish four orders at the same time. I'm definitely coming back.
Great place, good food, entertained by the cook....he is a well oiled machine. Small place, had to wait for a seat there's only maybe a dozen, but went fast, treated well while waiting and food was delicious so well worth it!
Best people in the world are found there. Kim, her staff and patrons are all first rate. We were visiting from Texas, but felt we were from Minnesota after experiencing the hospitality.
The food is delicious. The prices are great. The staff is friendly.
Kim invested her time and savings in the Ideal Diner to create a clean and friendly place we'd expect from a "vintage" establishment, without the grime and Nordeast pretense. You need not be a regular, or know the owner's "system" to feel welcome. Food is hot, fresh, and and affordable price.
Love this place always. Always great service and great food. Close to home.
