This place needs to learn how to torque lug nuts to factory specs instead of ramming them down with an impact gun. Left me to deal with the aftermath of their stupidity. There's no reason to over torque lug nuts. EDIT: "We always torque lug nuts to the proper specs and check them with a torque wrench afterwards. " That response proves my point. If you ram lug bolts on with an impact gun and then slap a torque wrench on afterward, it will still click — because the bolt is already over-tightened. A torque wrench is meant to do... read more
