I ordered the chocolate hazelnut and Blackberry crumble. The chocolate hazelnut was super creamy, very chocolatey just a hint of salt. The buttercream was amazing, very light and fluffy. The blackberry crumble was just as good.The inside was just the right amount of tart and perfectly sweet. It's a safe bet to say that anything that this shop makes is going to be absolutely delicious and I can't wait until they have the green tea cupcakes back in stock!
Delicious, moist, flavorful cupcakes! My favorite is the Caramel Coconut! She always remembers me when I call to see if they are made.
I have never reviewed anything in my life but I had to talk to about the cupcake I had last night. It was truly, without a doubt, the best cupcake I have ever eaten. And I've eaten some cupcakes! It was chocolate with chocolate frosting and it was amazing! The frosting was blow my mind tasty, and I thought you should know!
We were passing through Bellingham in early August and stopped to eat at Bayou on Bay. We parked right next to Icing on the Cake and made a point of coming back there for dessert. We were there outside of normal business house, but the woman behind the counter encouraged us to come in anyway since she would be baking long into the night. She was so nice to us! Stopped by this bakery on a bride's quest to visit several cupcake shops for a tasting test back at my house later. Not only did this bakery have the absolute BEST customer service, they also won our blind taste test! The raspberry cheesecake cupcake was 10/10. Will definitely be our choice for our wedding!!
