Fantastic decor and atmosphere, excellent service and the food is amazing. Perfect size portions and delicious flavors!!!
chef/partner matt bickford is an accomplished chef amongst chefs. the food here is 100% scratch cooking: breads, duck ravioli, the house curry,....you get the idea. complex scratch cooking with great attention to detail. great food, great live music (every night!) and great cocktails/wine/beer. try the 10 course tasting menu at the chef's bar for only $40 (if you're lucky enough to nab a seat).
Best food I've had in a very long time. Full of wonderful and well paired flavors. Great atmosphere as well.
The food is exquisite and the acoustics are wonderful. Icehouse is a gem.
This place was terrible! We called 3 weeks out to reserve a table to be told "we don't do that". We arrived to 3 tables with reserved signs and no where to sit. They removed a reserved sign so we sat at a the table to be yelled at the staff. "I'm so sick of customers and their attitudes". We were just trying to enjoy ourselves. The staff was horrible. You know I'm torn about Icehouse. The bar tenders are top notch. Really - a full house and yet they remember how to make my drink. What sucks are the patrons. 3 great acts but totally rude and caddy guests. We arrived early to celebrate a special ocassion. Had a pretty decent booth until the disrespectful fans arrived. I recommend Icehouse follow the Fine Line and sell premium seating on the balcony level. Move the tables to the railing so those who arrive late don't fuck up what I planned as a special evening.
