Avoid at all cost. They employ shady practices and routinely over-bill where possible. Never give them your credit card.
I won’t go into details but this place is very predatory and only cares to charge whenever and wherever they can even if it isn’t justified. They do not care for your child’s wellbeing when every other week, a new incident report of another child has pushed or scratched your child, and at least one of those occasions was because you brought it up and not that you were made aware that ANYTHING happened. You don't want to come here. DONT It is hard to find help, and you might feel desperate ( I did ) BUT you don't want to subject or your child to their outrageous billing practices. You give them your credit card and they charge it for WHATEVER they like without a warning...I haven't seen an email invoice - nothing - but I did get charged for 600 dollars for intake (plus insurance got charged)....they are in network with our insurance...and they charged us over what insurance said the evaluation should cost. Wow, no wonder this place has bad reviews. Our son came here for speech class. Miss Bella had been wonderful, kind and my son made progress. The issue is with their billing. We were charged $540 for $30 copay. My wife luckily noticed it after few weeks and sent an email to billing team per the guidance given by the provider. I regret having to write this review, but I feel it’s important to share my experience with ICON Therapy, particularly the Bel-Red location. In my opinion, their practices are unprofessional and potentially risky for children. First, their evaluations seem to be conducted by individuals who lack the appropriate educational background.
