I'm puzzled—why does it say WALK-IN when the first thing they ask for is your insurance, and you need a referral?! This doesn’t make sense!
The entire experience was awful. I came here for an ibuprofen injection because I have ulcer and I cannot take it by mouth and was in excruciating pain from a pulled muscle. When I got there I asked at the reception if they do pain injections and they. said yes and after an hour and a half this doctor very arrogant and absolutely unprofessional said he doesn’t want to the injection and suggested physical therapy for my pain. I would not recommend any of the Illinois Bone and Joint locations. If you like being transferred from person to person and not really getting to where you need to be, and then, if for some odd reason you get disconnected or something like that, you’ll have a difficult time getting back in touch with them. Their website barely allows you to request information back from them. If you’re looking for a place that will truly care about you and isn’t too big for their own good and look elsewhere.
I went to IBJI urgent care in Glenview for severe back pain. While there, both the office and medical staff were congenial and respectful. I was prescribed a steroid, however, the prescription was never sent to my pharmacy. I have made 3 attempts and left messages for Dr. Garal both yesterday and today to no avail. I am in pain and would like to begin a course of treatment as soon as possible and that doesn’t seem likely considering the lack of response. I am very disappointed Ted to say the least.
