I felt heard and understood by Daniel during my visit. It was difficult for me to articulate what was going on but he listened, translated and took the time to understand me. I would recommend him highly. We need a 6 star rating for Daniel.
I’ve been seeing Dan Ibarra for awhile now. At first he was helpful until I began to develop chronic stomach/ intestinal conditions that required more testing and time to determine what was going on. It was then that he started to get quite condescending and downright rude to me. At one point after I messaged other people on the gastroenterology team about stomach concerns and he got mad that I was doing so. I have every right to talk to whom I need to about my care. Dr. Ibarra is truly the best GI I have ever seen. He is incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely kind, and deeply compassionate. He has taken the time to truly dig in and help find solutions for my Crohn’s, never brushing off concerns or taking a one‑size‑fits‑all approach. He is also very responsive, which has meant the world to me during difficult moments. For the first time, I feel heard, supported, and hopeful.
