I highly recommend finding a female doctor instead of seeing Dr. Bishop. He does not listen to his patients, particularly women of color, and repeatedly cut me off when I tried to explain my symptoms. He prescribed me a pill without warning me that it could cause 1 to 3 months of bleeding. I am now on week THREE of a painful and heavy period, and when I reached out for help, he completely minimized my pain, told me it was "normal," and interrupted me yet again.
