Haven’t been seen by Dr. Murton for a couple of years. Was told to set an appointment with him from my GI doctor for problems I’ve been having for some time now. I have seen several other doctors who haven’t been able to diagnose me. Called to schedule appointment and was told to get all information from other doctors. I explained that there have been multiple doctors I’ve seen including ER visits and they’ve had no answers, therefore I’m not quite sure what information is wanted when there isn’t any. I was refused appointme... read more
My husband found Dr. Murton to be so helpful. The first doctor to diagnose that he had BPPV - instead of being laid up for three days with vertigo...now he could be treated and get PT that has made a positive difference in his life. I also went to Dr. Murton, found him very warm, kind, and helpful. He knew just what I needed to correct my neck-massage-induced vertigo--I was then helped by the wonderful Toni Oliver for PT (in Templeton)--who fixed me! Very appreciative of them both. I've found that as a new patient, I had to ... read more
Very kind and thorough. He diagnosed my husband's BPPV after my husband struggled with vertigo attacks. I've highly recommended him several times with confidence.
Someone wrote that he's "aloof." I couldn't agree more. I asked questions he would not give any kind of answer to. Before he left the room, he asked "Do you have any more questions?" I said, "Yes, just the ones I've just asked." He left the room with a smirk. His own Care Philosophy states: "I strive to provide my patients with the best medical care possible." Not so! I've had tinnitus 24/7 for almost 2 years now as well as loss of taste and hearing. He offered absolutely nothing. Zilch
I found Dr Murton to be aloof! He had his mind made up about what he perceived to be what was wrong with me! He consulted a scan over a year old.I have yet to find a good ENT! He prescribed two medications, one of which he never said anything about! If he had, I could have told him I couldn't take it! As it was, I picked it up! Waste of $$. I'm still miserable!
Dr. Murton is kind, caring, patient and gentle. His approach is conservative. He asks questions and listens to your answers, and he has never rushed out of the room on to his next patient, like so many doctors do these days.
Horrible staff especially the receptionists, VERY RUDE, she was rude to my daughter too another time. Doctor was fine took 45 minutes to see him. Receptionist was was still rude when I was left also.
I am new to the California Central Coast region and was in the need of immediate attention for my ears. Dr. Murton and his staff are very courteous, responsive and professional. It was a wonderful experience and my ailment was treated superbly.
The most pleasant experience I have ever had with a Dr and surgeon. He educates you rather than just tell you random info, he even made a call to me personally just to check on me after my surgery this morning. I've never experienced such care like this from a Dr before. Thank you
