This was not the quality of inspection I was looking for. I selected this inspector based on good reviews and the fact that he also does radon testing, a one stop shop. The first thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the fact that the inspector did not want me to be present during the inspection. Rather, we scheduled a time for me to meet up with him for the last 30 minutes so that I could walk through and see what he had found which I thought was reasonable. Jim was very professional, and the inspection was very thorough. I was very impressed.
Jim did 2 home inspections for my husband and I during our purchasing process. Both inspections were very thorough and to the point. He made sure we understood what needed attention now and what would eventually come up down the road. Jim was very informative and both reports included everything he told us in person. I would highly recommend and use HyTek Home Inspections in the future if it were to be necessary!
