I and my wife went there to eat sushi but totally disappointed. We ordered 2 rolls and fried rice. Rolls are too normal then fried rice was too salty. I know american people enjoy salty but this one was too salty. So I asked server new one. They served new one but it was same as the first one. IT WAS TOO MUCH SALTY. I enjoyed the sushi ginger only.
We ordered pick up, and 3 of the 7 people got sick. The Sushi tasted like it was spoiled. I knew immediately that something was wrong. It tasted like rotten dirty feet. The rolls themselves looked very sloppy and boring. Unfortunately I wont ever be ordering from here again. It's like the fist time you get sick from drinking, it takes a very long time to ever try it again, if ever.
The servers and staff were very nice, but the sushi is horrible. They served us sushi that had turned. The fish actually smelled horrible and I honestly don't know how they let something that bad leave the kitchen. They didn't charge us for those specific pieces but even the other sushi pieces were stiff as if they had been sitting out. The rolls we ordered were average. I don't think I'll ever go back because there are better options in Dallas. But again, at least everyone there was nice.
THEY SERVED ME POISON! I've been to Hypnotic Sushi multiple times, and it's always been okay. Never great, but never bad. However, when I went on Monday I ordered iced tea and apparently they had not emptied the machine after filling it with cleaning product the night before. I took a big gulp and immediately got very sick. My coworker smelled my drink as I raced to the bathroom and said there was an overwhelming odor similar to Windex. They literally served me poison.
