Took my transmission (4L65E) in Monday 1:00PM 8/10/26 to have Josh check out and rebuild, and boy did he. By 3:30 he had sent me videos of the teardown, showed me what was wrong and why it failed. By 4:30 he had it completely put back together. I picked it up the next day and had it installed by 7:00 PM and could not be happier. It shifts and performs better than I expected. I paid $18,500 for a full top-to-bottom engine build that was supposed to make 600 horsepower to the wheels. After completion, the truck only made 380 horsepower on the dyno — nearly 220 horsepower short of what was represented. To make matters worse, after only 5–10 miles, the camshaft is already showing scoring. There should absolutely not be cam damage on a fresh engine with almost no run time. Josh took care of me the best I have ever been take care of by a business owner. For starters, I live in OKC and took a chance on driving to Tulsa because of his reviews. I’d drive 4 hours to have him work on my vehicle if I had to. I had my Tahoe towed up there Sunday and he had the transmission rebuilt and truck ready by Monday afternoon. Josh has been such a God send when it came to getting my car fixed.
