I installed the Hydro-Shield on my 250 Yamaha outboard over a year ago after damaging my skeg on some drift wood. After tracking fuel burn rates before and after, I was blown away at the difference. Our range has increased significantly and on top of that, we no longer have porpoising problems and protection from anchor lines, or fishing gear, getting caught in the prop. Love this product, my planning time decrease and fuel efficiency is much better. The transom lift has increased my trimming ability allowing me to run in shallow water. Took off the Sting Ray cavitation hydrofoil because it did not compare to Hydro-Shield Thanks Charlie SeaHunter Boats

I installed the Hydro-Shield and was able to get back on the water yesterday for the first time in a while. All I can say is "WOW!! What a difference!!". I get on plane quickly and can go about 6 miles per hour faster at full throttle. I am really enjoying this and now don't see the need for trim tabs, which I was considering.
