They are so so bad at returning calls. They have held my overpayment for 8 months now. they have acknowledged it was an overpayment. Have told me that I will see it in the mail. All lies. I have no issue with nursing or doctors. This is beyond ridiculous. Do not use this facility
Oh boy do I have a story! I did not have insurance coming into hyde park. This was who my doctor was able to use. First, the surgery center did not call me to go over any information with me. I had to call three times to get any financial information myself. They did not contact me. When I finally did reach someone they informed me of a $6,000 cost. They were very happy to let me know that if I couldn't afford this up front they had a very LENIENT option! I could pay 75% of 6 GRAND and pay the remaining balance in installmen... read more
UPDATE: It only gets worse. The "billing department" is more like a collections agency. I've been told they can't make outgoing calls, so they won't contact my insurance. I have had to call my insurance and then start a conference call with the billing department here. This is the only way they will speak to insurance. I've had to do this TWICE and still the issue is unresolved. If you get your surgery done here, expect to pay out of pocket for the full procedure. Believe the 1 star reviews and find care elsewhere. My experience was extremely disappointing. I spent hours on the phone with Hasaan Roberts (Business Office Manager) at Hyde Park Surgery Center while he delayed and, effectively denied medical treatment to my child.
The reviews about billing couldn't be more true. While the surgery itself was fine, it seems the moment you are done, they won't answer anything billing related. I have been trying to get in touch with anyone from billing for over a week - leaving voicemail everyday and filling out the online contact form. Yet I have not received any call backs.
