We were very excited that after 6 years since its previous closing, Hyde Park opened again in our area. Food, service and atmosphere are all top notch. My only complaint is the price of their martini (and the size to go along with it). Last time we were there we were charged $19.25 for a Ketel One martini in a glass that’s at most 3/4 full. Our economy sucks and we are being over charged and gouged everywhere. Sadly, in above hate situation, Hyde Park (Fairlawn) is joining the crowd of businesses that are doing the over charging and gouging. What do I mean…) $20.25 for a very short martini (see picture). I came to Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse to celebrate a birthday, and while the food was great, the service is what really stuck with me. Amanda and David were just…on it the whole night. Not in a stiff or scripted way but more like they were genuinely paying attention and cared about us having a good time. It felt natural, easy, and honestly kind of rare. My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner and sat at the bar. I wanted to share some feedback from our visit. While the food was absolutely amazing, we were disappointed with the level of service. There were four bartenders present, yet we were not acknowledged for some time. Clean, very nicely done. Noise level throughout the restaurant was very high, hard to have a relaxed evening or conversation at low levels.
