Architectural grandeur and posh luxury are clearly evident at this hotel. Checking in is an experience, as visitors marvel at the detailed lobby known as the Grand Hall. The arch located at the main entrance of the hotel is famed for its ability to echo whispers. The Hyatt also has an impressive and knowledgeable staff that goes out of its way to ensure visitors a comfortable stay. The hotel is connected to the heart of St. Louis Union Station, which makes shopping and dining as easy as walking out the door.

One of my favorite Hyatt hotels and they never disappoint, from valet attendants to front desk to housekeeping.
No pool/spa/hot tub which is ridiculous. Major turn off right there considering I was sore and was looking forward to that. A 4 star hotel without a pool. Pathetic. Cable is very limited. Wifi is limited and took a bit to figure out. Housekeeping comes knocking around super early (830am). Even with the privacy tag on the door they still knocked. No complimentary breakfast. Ridiculous parking fees. Rooms are nice, that's it. I'd look elsewhere next time. Glad the room was free. No way in in hell I'd pay to stay here. Also say... read more
My kids loved being able to see the Arch out of our window. It was nice and clean. Very pleased with it.
Second time staying there, had a great view of the arch, the only thing was the blow dryer was not hot !!
The room was ok. It was decorated nicely but nothing special about the comfort of the bed. The toilet stayed stopped up. No hairdryer in the room. When my girlfriend called to ask for one, they brought one that had a short in it and barely worked. It did have a very nice view of the river. There was nothing particularly special about it for the price we paid for one night. I won't stay there again. I'd rather stay somewhere else downtown for that money or even stay somewhere else in the city and take an Uber downtown.
