Amazing friendly staff! Resort amenities definitely a bonus! Meals at the Firewheel over-the-top!! However the reason I gave it only three stars is because the horrible AC!! We actually had someone come to the room and take a look at it however they couldn't figure it out. The room was not cooling down past 76° I think I may be a little spoiled on AC however it sure was pretty miserable last night. This place was amazing. Thanks to Hope at the front desk for zooming me to my car at 1 am to retrieve my daughters inhaler and to Lance for making a treasured memory for my daughter. All staff is exceptional! Pricing is ridiculous for everything so stop by HEB and bring your own snacks and take advantage of the restaurants in Bastrop.
