Another exceptional stay at Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. As a frequent returning guest and World of Hyatt Globalist member, I am always highly impressed by the consistency of this property. We had a four-day stay at this hotel two weeks ago. We upgraded to the VIP suite, which was spacious and comfortable for our small family. The suite had a living room and kitchenette, which we used to spend time with our three-year-old while our four-month-old slept peacefully in the bedroom. The room service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.
I will start this off by saying that I’m a Marriott brat! The only reason that I stayed here was because my company pre-booked my room. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised with the Hyatt. Very friendly front office staff and the coffee was great. The rooms were spotless, I was impressed and I can pretty much find something wrong with every room. Lots of parking and they had EV charging available which was so helpful for our Tesla. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
We stayed here for just one night and wanted to give a special shoutout to Ariana at the front desk for being so accommodating (with us moving rooms, making our anniversary special), and Riley at Drift for being so warm and kind. The service here made us well so welcome and special! The pool was heated, tennis courts still lit up at night (can rent rackets and balls for free from reception), and overall the hotel was very clean and well maintained. We would stay here again. I have no idea what it must be like sleeping in one of the rooms here, but I can tell you that the sound of the hotel’s frequent early morning yard work is excruciatingly loud from down the street
