Get directionsStayed for business. Overall, this wasn’t my favorite Hyatt Place location. The hotel looks nice, but there were several small issues throughout my stay that added up. The breakfast was especially disappointing, with limited quality and selection. That said, considering the price, it may still offer decent value if you’re looking for a reasonably priced option in downtown San Jose.
Not a luxury hotel, but 5 stars for comfort, location and service. Shout out to Nick at the front desk, though all were great. Breakfast was quite generous, especially considering it was free. Eggs, sometimes omelettes, bacon or sausage, french toast, cereals,yogurt, oatmeals, selection of breads, whole fruit. Walkable.
Issues : - AC - Parking fee being high - Announcing guest rooms numbers The A/C was very loud 🫠 and ran all night. You could hear it constantly, so if you're sensitive to noise, it may disrupt your sleep. The front desk staff was kind and helpful overall. However, one of the front desk agents I believe her name was Marry repeatedly said my room number out loud. It would have been nice to know ahead of time about the $45 dollar charge for parking.
Could not get a single good night’s sleep here. The a/c unit in the room was extremely old and noisy, unable to maintain the set temperature. While it ran all night, the train car outside the window would ding starting early at 6 am. The shower was able to hold hot but was unresponsive to temperature changes. Bed was hard and lumpy.
