Everyone here tries so hard. I felt very accommodated and cared for. Breakfast is excellent 👌
The staff was very nice and accommodating to our stay and the need to check out late. But, the rooms are small, A/C doesnt work the best, the halls smell like trash and the trash hadn't been emptied in what seemed like all weekend. Dog friendly but only a small grass area for the dogs to go to the bathroom, it is in a busy area of town and has minimal parking.
Racist staff at the counter, allowed a white man to take a pack of M&Ms on his way out but charging us for the “WATER BOTTLES” on our way out which is usually ALWAYS common hotel courtesy. Paying for water bottles is not a big deal for me or my husband, it was the difference in treatment by the guy at the front desk.
Stayed here for the weekend to check out Shaver Lake. From start to finish front desk took great care of me and the kids. Had an issue where we ended up in the wrong room but they satisfied it immediately. Specifically Michelle and Emily. They kept checking to make sure there was nothing else needed and went overboard to keep my children excited about the hotel. Next time I come to visit this is where I’m staying thanks to these ladies at the front and the cleanliness. Heated Pool was a plus.
