What a fantastic start and the staff was so very nice. Even commented on my Bama gear and had laughs definitely won't stay anywhere else.
Although the hotel wasn’t busy when I checked in, I was assigned a room on the third floor (out of six) next to the busy road at the back of the property. Road noise was significant throughout the day and evening. Fortunately I brought ear plugs otherwise I would have requested another room on a higher floor or away from the road. There are plenty of other hotels nearby that don’t face the busy road. They provide a breakfast buffet at no cost, which was ok. Excellent customer service! Everyone was so nice and my room was clean. I will stay there again!
The staff was amazing but the rooms could use some upgrades, especially the bathrooms. Need to get rid of the tubs and only have walk in showers. The sinks are too big for the space plus the faucets fall short and causes the water (when on low) to spill all over the counter. Columbia being the state capital should at least have one 5 star hotel. Very underwhelmed.
