We came on a Sunday night and ordered the wings and Parmesan fries (never disappoints). Lucky for us, they were out of wings. The good hand breaded chicken tenders with a side of banging sauce. What a wonderful and unexpected treat. The bar staff was an ambitious senior at UG and kept us entertained.
We late coming down to get something to eat and they were about close and Shanice (bartender) and Kyle (chef) was very kind to fix us something to eat. We were trying to go to the roof top and it was closed at 9:30pm where it was supposed to be open until !at least 11p.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Athens, in GA for a wedding. Room was comfortable, laid out like a suite. Excellent proximity to downtown Athens and the campus. Breakfast had a nice variety, including eggs/sausage, fruit, chobani yogurt, cereal. Our favorite breakfast of the trip. The rooftop bar is definitely a destination ‘scene’ for college crowd going for an upscale feel. Would certainly stay here again.
The room was comfortable and well appointed. The bar downstairs was incredible and the breakfast was amazing! The parking was expensive but overall it was a nice stay.
