The location and staff were great! However, if you are wheelchair bound, choose another property. The only roll-in showers are in suites, which requires you to pay more and the shower chair is very small, which appears to fit the body of an average weight 12yr old. It didn’t feel safe/sturdy enough to use that chair for my 80 yr old wheelchair bound mother, so we eventually moved to another hotel for her to shower. Room was clean. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there was some chipped paint and the pillows weren’t great (I’m picky about my pillows though). The breakfast was good. Glad there was French toast instead of waffles. Wish there was a sugar free option for syrup. Location was great. Starbucks located just outside, good dining options within walking distance, EV chargers in the parking lot, a skywalk to the casino connected to the hotel. Overall, if I come back to Pittsburgh, this is where I’ll stay.

My stay at the Hyatt was pretty good besides the check in process. I had to go up and down to front desk 3 times in the row because my key wasn't opening the door. Finally she moved me to another room. The room itself was very nice and modern. I enjoyed the layout of the hotel. It's connected to a casino so there was a smoke smell in the halls but it didn't bother me. Parking can get packed in front of the girl but there is a big garage behind the hotel with plenty of parking just some extra steps getting to the room. Overal... read more

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years or so. It was always a favorite. I was sad to see the decline of this once fine hotel. We were on the fourth floor, convenient to walkway to the casino. The carpet in the hallway was dirty, and there was a musty smell. Rooms were quite dated . Wallpaper peeling and with water damage. Our room had a refrigerator that was not working, didn’t have enough towels, barely enough toilet paper, the toilet paper holder was broken, had warm water but no hot water for two days, the dresser drawer wouldn’t stay shut and the room felt dirty. Other than that the room was fine?!
