We drive through Amarillo frequently with our young kids and this was my husband's preference of all the hotels in the area because the rooms are spacious enough even with a pullout bed and a pack and play and the continental breakfast. This latest visit was much different than our usual...starting with the front desk informing us that breakfast is now $8 per person. Positive: clean rooms, friendly staff, allow dogs and free coffee Room for improvement : back door is broken, just make sure you really push it in. Icemaker on fourth floor is broken. Overall: a nice day thank you
My wife and I decided to try Hyatt on our vacation this week. Upon arrival the room was nicely decorated and clean. Upon further inspection I found a few long strands of hair in the sheets right before I got in for the night. The middle of the night I awoke to a crinkling sound in the room which kept me up off and on. I assumed it was the AC unit but in the morning my wife woke up to wet feet as the room above us must have flooded and had been dripping onto the bed all night.
