I love shopping at Hy-Vee! Have always been greeted with excellent customer service. Love their custard pies - and Stephanie is an angel! Needed demi-glace for a recipe - couldn't find any - Josh called me the next day to say it was in - My Husband couldn't locate it - several helped him but still couldn't find it. The chef made us a wonderful demi-glace! If you are getting unsatisfactory customer service there - I'd be quite surprised!
Try the Market Grill on Sunday after church. It's amazing!
This is based on our horrible experience on Thanksgiving morn at the restaurant. It started off bad by being seated at a dirty booth, not getting waited on for an unacceptable amount of time, and then experiencing the filthy buffet table they had set up. There was food sitting on napkins where the serving utensils were placed. There was food mixed in with other food, and most of the food containers were close to empty. As we were walking out of the store tonight, the wind caught my daughters balloon in the parking lot and flew quite a ways down towards hibachi, being 3 years old, that balloon was everything and she started crying. Omar was outside collecting carts in the rain/windy mix, he took off running down the parking lot just to get it for her. I just want to say thank you again to Omar for going out of his was and getting her balloon for her!
Wanted to give a few Kudos to a few of your employees who take that extra step to exemplify great customer service. Last week I picked up a Rx and asked the Pharmacist a question thru the drive thru. I ended up having to leave and she took the time to call me and leave me a message with the answer to my question even though I left. The customer service is outstanding here at Hy-Vee. The staff are quite nice and friendly, and even greet you unlike most other retail stores. We went for some deals, and they actually have the items in stock!
Cheap product used in the Market Grille. A high school cafeteria equivalent literally in quality of food. Operations Management is incredibly hateful towards its staff. One person in particular should have been fired long ago by constantly creating a hostile working environment. The Store Manager simply condones it though by not acting. Hy-Vee has one goal and it's NOT customer satisfaction, its getting out of the "red" so management can make their bonuses. All about the $$$.
