Bad management Management, beginning with Duane Asche, are a bunch of overbearing snobs who feel it's beneath them to assist a customer. The first time I was in the store, I encountered arrogant personnel at the customer service desk and in several departments. So many great things in one place! What can I say, this is practically my second home. Hy-Vee has a great selection at every day great prices. The customer service can fill all your needs from cashing checks to payings bills. They have a pharmacy, bank, gift and floral shop. want to rent a movie? They always have the newest releases for just $1/day! Their meat department is always helpful and friendly as is all their staff. Get great cooking tips from the meat department. Hy Vee not 4 me Hey, Others may love this store, but I do not. I live right behind it and will not shop, eat, or visit for any reason. I will tell you why. After moving here, I tried the store, only to be ignored by the checker ( who constantly talked to other employees) while "waiting" on me. I did not get a hello, or eye contact. Next, I ordered take out chinese food, only to be sickened at the sight of the server having her nasty long hair dropping near the food. She was touching her face and hair. With specific complaints as to Duane Asche's management skills, I would like to point out to the unknowledgable that this man started out as a bag boy and has been successful in turning around and making successful many Hy-Vee stores in both Iowa and Kansas. My favorite grocery store Hy vee is a great store. They have a cafeteria, they do catering, and they are open 24 hours. They have a pharmacy, gift and floral, and banking too. Their prices are competitive with lots of stores, but they run great sales every week. You can always get a bargain and get more for your money at Hy vee.
Really good I always Shop at Hyvee foods and its really good..all the fresh produce is very very fresh and i enjoy shopping here...whenever i have any questions or queries there are answers for that with the customer care which makes HYvee the best shop to shop in...
