We hired Hy-Vee on Barry road to cater our wedding on 9/18/20. They were delicious. They have many options to choose from, with different food and serving choices. In our package we chose, it was buffet style and you got 2 entrees - we decided on Herb roasted chicken and Sweet and spicy salmon, which were absolutely yummy! we 💘 our neighborhood HyVee
I LOVE this hyvee! The people who work there are so friendly and helpful. I’m always greeted with a smile and asking how me or my kiddos are/have been. In just 1 shopping trip, I had at least 6 employees say hi, ask how I have been, how the kids are, that it was good to see me, etc. I also love the sales each week, the freshness of the produce and meat, variety of choices and quality. The people at the pharmacy are great too!
go to hy-vee once every week! lately nothing has been stocked! i've bought milk with the top partially opened pickles that were mushy ! we go early in the morning only one cashier very slow takes her time!! if there was a better store around i'd go there but there is ni competition!! so they get away with this bad service!!
Connor in the meat department was amazing, great customer service! Thanks for helping me pick out what to grill for dinner!!
Twice items were missing when we got home. When we returned for one, a bag of frozen shrimp, they simply refused to believe us.
7/16/20 - standing in line in the liquor department I counted 11 people. Three had masks on and eight did not. That was no issue for this HyVee. Mentioned it to the cashier, her comment was “there’s no food in this department”. Sigh- goodbye HyVee, hello Price Chopper
