I just picked up my daughter's first bday cakes, very disappointed!!! Not what I wanted, nothing like the pictures I gave them!
RecommendedOverall they Hy-Vee is a good grocery store. I like the great selection of gluten free products and the staff is helpful. I have two recurring issues with this location: (1) employees do not bag items correctly and I often have to correct them or move stuff around to avoid smashed produce; and (2) items are out of date - we check every item we buy now, but we have purchased out of date items including yogurt and granola. I love this store and always find it a pleasant shopping experience. However, the current state of the parking lot is unacceptable. After almost wiping out while walking to my car, I felt compelled to write a complaint. The parking lot needs to be better plowed and cleared for the safety of their customers and employees.
This is my favorite grocery store for a reason! they always prove to be caring and helpful. today marks the second time since Ive started shopping there that an employee has done me a favor on a tough day that nearly brought me to tears with graditude. thank you guys so much!

Can’t believe they got rid of the Mexican Cantina , It was so good , I think this was a bad decision
How about checking produce. I could care less if your employees are SMILING.
