These “new” shrimp & grit wontons are freaking blowing my mind! There are so many great options on the menu, but the wontons are definitely my favorite. The gumbo, jambalaya, voodoo salad, stuffed chicken, voodoo shrimp poboy, mac n chz, & corn soufflé all incredible options. Most visits are usually a carb overload and you will want to go straight to bed and on a diet immediately, but totally worth every bite! 😂
The food was delicious and very filling. The decor is wonderful. Seen it on Diners Drive-ins and Dives, so decided to check it out since we were in the area. OMG so glad we did. I rate it at a 5!!!! Try the Triple D, Red beans & rice, BBQ Spaghetti and 2 cajun pot stickers! it was very good, the BBQ pork on a cornbread waffle was also very tasty, and the grilled carrots. All 5 of us in our group loved it.
The atmosphere and live music was awesome and the food was even better can’t wait to To come back and have dinner again
enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It had a bit of a Mardi Gras feel to the place.
Not terribly cheap but not too bad. Food is eclectic Cajun with some dishes very authentic. Wednesday night open mike night is great & no cover.
