My husband & I went to Hwy 61 tonight & at 1st were a little taken back by the man who greeted us & sat us saying it could take awhile for our server to get to us. We were sat outside & the patio wasn’t very busy so we were confused about that comment but didn’t let it ruin our night. I came from Belleville, Illinois to try out the Sunday Brunch. It was delicious and I had the best server named Meeka. She is such a hard worker and made my first time visit very pleasant. I love the ambiance and extended menu (food & drinks). I had my first Bloody Mary! I will highly recommend you to my family & friends. I shall return! Thanks, Tammy
Great atmosphere and our server was trying hard, but when the food isn’t coming out of the kitchen, she can’t be blamed. I had no idea from the name or outside decor that they were a Cajun place—but they also have BBQ. We had the mushroom appetizer and it was really good. Smoky and flavorful. We came in on a Saturday and asked for a 16 top table for an hour and half after we arrived and they said sure. Then when the hour and half passed after we spent lots of money at the bar they all of a sudden could not accommodate a table that large so too bad for us. The food is sub par. The service is not good. I would not ever recommend coming here. Ever.
