This is the best restaurant in St. Louis and surrounding areas. Amazing food, great music (blues) and an amazing atmosphere.
So glad we made the visit from Wisconsin. Great food! Great service and atmosphere too! Feel in love with the seafood pasta! Yummy food
Well I had the crab cakes appetizer and was not impressed at all, guess I should have asked for a recommendation. The cakes were mushy and the rice they were paired with gave them a soapy taste I guess is how I would describe it. The atmosphere was great though.
4 of us for Sunday Brunch at 1130 when Cracker Barrel had an hour wait. We didn't wait here. Everything was amazing including the build your own hloody Mary. Great variety and good way to try many of their specialties. You will not be disappointed. Service was great too. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from our chocolate chip pancakes to our cat fish to the deserts table.
The food was amazing but unfortunately the service was not up to par.... they are running a special on hurricanes and the waiter did not offer that to us so we paid an extra $10,got less alcohol and no souvenir glass and the waiter said he couldn't do anything abt it. we didn't even get souvenir glasses that we more than earned.... but because the food was amazing we will.most definitely be back.

Hot food, good service, reasonably priced. Atmosphere is rustic, southern theme.
Not great. We were wondering if our ticket got lost. No refills on water and when lunch finally came it just wasn't worth the wait. Too bad - had high hopes. The staff just wasn't interested - seemed more interested in the buffet than their tables. I would blame the transition between brunch and lunch but our server wasn't working the breakdown and that doesn't excuse the lack of great flavor.
We absolutely LOVE Hwy. 61 Roadhouse! The Cajun Gorgonzola Burger is amazing and like nothing you will find anywhere in St. Louis. The corn souffle is like dessert! The pork steak is so tender and flavorful we fight over who gets it...and the brisket is so good..oh yeah the steak medallions melt in your mouth. I truly could go on and on...we absolutely fell in love with this place 4 years ago and it is our number one date night destination!
